Security Intelligence Agency operative Petar finds himself embroiled in a conflict against the forces of darkness when he investigates a bloody massacre in a remote village in Eastern Serbia.

Mitar, a peaceful man living in Eastern Serbia, starts killing off his neighbours randomly. Petar, a troubled Security Intelligence Agency operative arrives at the village as a negotiator in an attempt to persuade Mitar to surrender.

Mitar ends up in a coma. Police inspectors Tomic and Blagojevic take over the case and invite a well-known psychologist Natasa as a judicial witness. Another story began in 1976, following Mica Djuric, a famous sports commentator.
